Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to buy LedgerBeaver because it works for you — not because you felt locked in. This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work in plain terms. It supplements Section 4 of our Terms of Service, which governs in the event of any conflict.
1. Try before you pay
Every account starts on the free Solo plan with no credit card required, and every new workspace receives a time-limited Pro trial. You can evaluate the full feature set before you ever enter a payment method. Because of this, most questions that other products answer with a refund, we answer with "try it free first."
2. Our 14-day money-back guarantee
If you upgrade to a paid plan (Pro or Max) and decide within 14 days of your first paid charge that LedgerBeaver isn't right for you, email support@ledgerbeaver.com and we will refund that charge in full. This guarantee applies once, to your first paid subscription. It's the simplest way we know to make trying a paid plan risk-free.
3. Monthly plans
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep full access until then. Outside the 14-day guarantee above, monthly fees already billed are non-refundable, and we do not prorate partial months.
4. Annual plans
Annual subscriptions are billed once for the year and are offered at a discount to the monthly rate. Outside the 14-day guarantee, annual fees are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a term after cancellation. Your plan remains active through the end of the paid year. We'll send a renewal reminder before each annual charge.
5. Price changes
If we change the price of your plan, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before your next billing cycle. If you don't agree to the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect and won't be charged the new amount.
6. When refunds are not available
- Accounts terminated by us for violating the Terms of Service (for cause) are not eligible for refunds.
- Charges older than the 14-day guarantee window, except where a refund is required by law.
- Fees for add-ons or one-time services already delivered.
7. Exceptions required by law
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under applicable consumer-protection law. Where such a law grants you a right that is more generous than this policy, that law controls.
8. How to request a refund or cancel
Cancel anytime from Account Settings → Billing, or email support@ledgerbeaver.com. For refund requests, include the email on your account and the charge date. We aim to respond within two business days, and approved refunds are returned to your original payment method (typically 5–10 business days for Stripe to settle).
